IMI Transfers is a family-operated chauffeur and transfer business based in Surfers Paradise. Every journey is pre-booked: you tell IMI where you are, where you are going and when, and a chauffeur collects you in a Mercedes-Benz V-Class reserved for your party alone.

It is a private driver in the plain sense — one vehicle, one booking, no other passengers and no shared route — for anyone from a single traveller to a group of seven.

Most chauffeur bookings are a straightforward journey from one address to another, arranged in advance. Typical pickups and destinations include:

• Hotels and resorts Collection from the lobby or driveway, or a drop-off at the door.
• Restaurants and evenings out There at the booked time, and home again afterwards.
• Business meetings and appointments Arriving on time without parking to find or a car to leave behind.

For business travel on the Gold Coast, a chauffeur takes care of the part of the day you would rather not think about. Journeys can be requested for meetings, corporate travel between offices and hotels, collecting clients or visiting colleagues, conferences, and business functions in the evening.

Each booking is arranged individually. Give the addresses, times and names of the people travelling, and IMI confirms the journey and the price before anything is booked.

A pre-booked chauffeur means the ride home is arranged before the evening starts. Whether it is dinner in Broadbeach, a night in Surfers Paradise or a table at Main Beach, the vehicle and the pickup time are agreed in advance, and nobody in the party needs to drive.

The same applies to hotel guests: a chauffeur can collect you from your hotel or resort and take you wherever the evening is — and back again.
